LAKE COUNTY CHAPTER MATHCOUNTS 2008 COMPETITION

With additional assistance provided by Lake Michigan Post of SAME, the Lake County Chapter of ISPE will conduct the 2008 MATHCOUNTS Competition for 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students from Lake and McHenry Counties participating schools at the:

COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY
BUILDING C, AUDITORIUM C005
19351 WEST WASHINGTON STREET
GRAYSLAKE, IL 60030

The Auditorium is on the south side of the Campus.
Parking in the staff parking lot off of Brae Loch Road is the most convenient.

On SATURDAY, 23 FEBRUARY 2008

REGISTRATION: 8:00 A.M.

COMPETITION BEGINS: 9:00 A.M.

GRADING BEGINS: 9:30 A.M, ROOM C130

Volunteers are encouraged to stay until the grading is done, (about or before 1230)
or stay and enjoy countdown round and the awards ceremony.

ILLINOIS STATE MATHCOUNTS 2008 COMPETITION

The state competition for Illinois will be held Saturday, 8 March 2008 at the Holiday Inn Matteson, 500 Holiday Plaza Drive, Matteson, Illinois 60443, I 57 at Route 30. Registration starts at 8:30 A.M.; Testing begins 9:45 A.M.; Grading begins 10:00 A.M.. Lunch will be provided for the participants and the volunteers. The Awards will be presented about 2:00 P.M., with an ice cream social immediately after for everyone. To volunteer, please complete and fax the following form to Ken Endress, Lake Michigan Post Outreach Committee Chair
